Watsons Online Philippines Headache & Stress

All transactions after the Quarantine was announced spiraled into frustration and non-commitment of the companies. My O shopping, ordered last April 30, 2020 was finally refunded recently after continuous pestering. My Metrobank Credit Card is nowhere to be found despite followups to their CSR wherein they commit 7-10 days delivery (x3). My biggest lost is from Watsons, part of a conglomerate. I’m still waiting for 11,000 pesos worth of refund.

Pre-ECQ, my orders arrived at the estimated time. I always pay through Credit Card. My orders after ECQ was and is still a headache.

What is frustrating with this company is that they couldn’t handle the surge in volume of orders (they never closed their online store!) and are now slowly opening up to deliver nationwide when they still haven’t close their pending issues with paid and waiting customers.

So my suggestions to those who plan to purchase

DO NOT AND NEVER PAY VIA CREDIT CARD, If the item is unavailable or if the courier, XDE wasn’t able to deliver, then you have to wait 30 days to 60 days for refunded and it is upon the approval of their accounting office.

SAVE YOURSELF AND DO NOT ORDER A LOT OF ITEMS IN ONE ORDER. IT WILL CAUSE A DELAY IN YOUR DELIVERY ESPECIALLY IF ONE ITEM IS NOT AVAILABLE.

I have three pending issues with this company and two were closed. A total of five issues.

1. Credit card double charged.

My order before quarantine was announced was never delivered and was cancelled by Watsons on April. Unfortunately, my credit card was double charge due to my negligence and their system’s failure to inform me that the transaction pushed through. I have received the refund which was tagged to the order id but until now, the second one which pushed through has fallen into deaf ears. iPay88 and Watsons are not helpful.

2. Order from April 29 still not delivered. Order from May 2 was delivered first despite being ordered later.

UPDATE 8/17/2020: I originally thought this order was still not refunded but randomly decided to check my statement and saw that it was refunded on August 3, 2020.

Order 1 was ordered on April 29, Order 2 on May 2. Order 2 was delivered first despite Order 1 was first released. Normally, when the package is on the way, it will be delivered a week. But this order already passed two months and is nowhere to be seen. I have already complained about this but it seems they are adamant in refunding me for this order. I received a message that it is subject to the approval of their accounting but until now there are no updates.

3. Partial items available, offering voucher for unavailable items.

UPDATE 7/19/2020: For some reason, they decided that all items are suddenly available. So they informed me on July 18 or 19 thru email that the items are now at the branch for pick-up. I went to the store and checked and was glad all items were complete.

Stupid me. I ordered again. I decided to try again and this time through branch pickup (since it was delivered to the branch the next day).  No, it didn’t happen. After 2 weeks, they have informed me through text that only a partial of my order is available and they will offer voucher credit for the items they couldn’t fulfill. I replied to the number indicated to the text message but never received a reply. Not acceptable, I am demanding a FULL refund.

I have spent a lot of time and money making phone calls to their hotline but it seems that my complain never reached the concerned party. I found that there is a better chance of resolution, not closing the issue, in their live chat via website.

Until now, no resolutions are made. Headache. I practically gave them free money and paid for products not yet and will never be delivered to me.
